Switching over to a (very) small outfit here next week that does flatbed and the guy I talked to says they run 7 trucks, all Kenworth T600's (the anteater). I know they stopped making them in 2007 and it was one of the first somewhat aero kenworths, has a 13 speed. Just wondering if anyone has driven one and what they think of it. Hey, at least its a kenworth which is an upgrade from what I used to drive.
Your thoughts on Kenworth T600?

The T600 is very good truck. Same thing as a W900 from the firewall back.
slaughterhaus Thanks this. -
Like the other poster said, they're just an updated W900. Good turning radius, little noisy in the wind, but a good truck.

great truck --unless you have a big ### then its might be kinda tough fitting between the seats--but it is my favourite truck

Good truck. I'd still rather have a W900L but T600 is a solid truck. Like somebody already said from the firewall back it's the same cab, chasis as a W9, interiors are the same.. On the mirrors outside put some silicone in that groove around the mirror shell will eliminate all whistling wind noise, good tight truck, KW, what more needs to be said.
cptdragn and slaughterhaus Thank this. -
I drove T600's at Stevens. They were very nice trucks. I prefered having the mirrors attached on the body instead of the doors as they are on Kenworths.

i owned a t6 for about 8 years. good truck good turning radius. i helped mine out by pulling the stop blocks out of the front end to give it just a little more turn. it had a 3406E and 13 speed.

and i have a big ### but have no problems
