Yokohama or Goodyear as steering tires - which one's better?

I would say Goodyear. Yokohama does make a very good drive tire. I have them. Have 200k on them, should get the rest of the year out of them

Yoko used to have 2 different steers. The cheaper ones are even squirreller than Goodyear’s. Why only 2 choices?

Firestone steers are a very nice choice! I like them better then yokes!

This one shop that I'm getting tires tomorrow from has this 2 brands for almost the similar price. I know Michelin is better but I will be fine with one of this 2.

Never had good luck with any truck I drove with Goodyear steers. Like Deere hunter sez, Firestone ( or Bridgestone, same thing, I think) were the best, and I tried them all. Michelin were okay, got great miles out of them, but always seemed "slippery" and wasn't worth the extra cost, I felt. I think Cooper makes a good tire too, but also pricey.

I might take the Yokos, over Goodyear’s. Have to compare side by side. I did get good wear and mileage from a set of Goodyear steers on my Trailer, more than once.Tough choice. The last Yokos Steers I had were the cheaper of the 2 style Steers. They were terrible. I stick with Firestone 591s. Good value.
