I was looking at them about 3 weeks ago and the prices I was seeing was $254 each. So installed with tax, yeah, it's in the market. Why don't you save the labor and put them in yourself? It was 8 nuts to pull the studs and 4 more for the hold-downs. Easy Peasy. -

Longer reserve power is why I was looking at them.
Yellow tops aren't a starting battery and they aren't a deep cycle. They are a hybrid of the two. Works better if you have high system loads like an RV or semi with TV, frig and lots of stuff like that.
I have since started to look more at the AGM batteries, not just the Optima Yellow tops. Interstate has one with a little bit better specs on their AGM. The AGM seem to hold up to the heavy vibrations that are common on the commercial applications.

I am not familiar with the yellow top Optima's you talk about, but I can get { 4 } 800 cca's installed for 510 bucks, from a parts house. The last ones lasted over 6 years, so they are good ones.I cannot afford truck-stop batteries, or anything else they sell.
Just cannot see spending $1100 for a set. Must be some real good ones.heavyhaulerss and Cetane+ Thank this. -
I put these in my truck. $418 for a set of 4. I paid $99 each

We all differ in our writing abilities, grammar, spelling, etc. Consequently, there isn't much emphasis placed on those things at TTR - it's more about the trucking. But, it's really unfortunate when a member provides good information to help someone, but chooses to present it in such a way that mocks another member's language skills.
