Hi, I'm looking to get my own truck and was looking at Xpo Joliet to start out with. They coverost of the extras until I get used to running my own truck and then I can get my own numbers later.
My question is if anyone knows what they pay for different runs around Chicago. I've talked to a lot of their owner operators and they seem happy but I need to know the numbers work. Thank you for your time and God bless.
Xpo drayage pay in Chicago?

If you are starting with your own truck, i would suggest go for a company that uses paper logs. It makes a lot of difference on your revenue and as a starter you will need that extra revenue.
Dominick253, MrReactor and RERM Thank this. -

The bigger the company, the less they pay.

Joliet terminal is the worst manged/dispatched terminal I have ever worked for. I was with them since they were BTT and had over 250 trucks, now after management changes they have around 50. What does that tell you.

@Anthony Ruther Did they lose a lot of the Maersk business?

But as we all know, steamship line work is the worst, the money is in working directly with the customer (ramp moves)Dominick253 Thanks this. -
