....or is it?

Howdy, all. As my time grows short with my soon to be former employer, I'm starting over with my new soon to be employer. I am already hired with Wright, all I'm waiting on is my last day at Evergreen. I'll post good and bad as I have time.

Wright Transportation has the reputation down here of being the absolute best company to work for. I was also told they only hire the best of the best. I in NO way claim to be anything but a VERY safe driver with a super clean record. I am in NO way perfect, nor will I ever claim to be. I can be a complainer. RebelChick can attest.


I will do my utmost best to be honest and truthful. The feeling I got from interviewing with the Director of Personnel at Wright was a feeling of almost perfect peace and "laidbackness"(?). A feeling I have never experienced in any other company or from any recruiter. My face to face interview was last Wednesday, July 19th. And, this was about 45 minutes after one of their drivers had a single vehicle accident that they were handling. When I asked when I could bring my wife on board, he said, "Bring her to orientation with you. We'd love to have her. Oh, and you may bring your dog, too. We don't care."


So, to say the least I am extremely, but guardedly, excited about this opportunity. I've spoken with several of their drivers and get the same story each time, saying, "You'll love it here".
