I have a question i just picked up this trailer i am purchasing from this guy who let it sit for 3 months. It has bridestone 726 el 11r22.5 on the rear axle on the trailer with 27/32nd of tread. It has bridgestone 295/75/22.5 on the front.Wouldnt the tall rubber on the back cause a wear issue with front axle because the front has to turn a half of a turn before the back moves? IF I was to sell these 11r22.5 drives would they be worth 250 a piece? thanks for your time in advance.
Wouldnt' 11r22.5 on a trailer on the back axle and a 295/75/22.5 on the front axle.

Would likely ware out the newer tires faster but not fast enough to justify the cost of replacing them, you will however need to match tire size and tread depth per axle side to get the most out of the tires. It's also illegal to mismatch tire size per axle side. Virgin tires that deep and that cheep you would have no problem selling around here.

Where is it illegal to mismatch tire size..?

Where do you people come up with some of this stuff. If you are repeating what you have heard at a truck stop. You might want to verify before you repeat it. These kinds of comments make you out to be dumber than not saying anything

Les2 Thanks this.

This should be docked.

don't know if it's a dot regulation but it's defenitly a safety regulation.
try to get your rig safety inspected in utah with mismatched tires sizes on the same axle and you won't pass. -
What's it matter on the trailer? <-- rhetorical question
