WORST of the WORST Total Quaility Logistics TQL

I have actually told one of their brokers to eat #### and die. I was doing a load for TQL and the broker called me 32 times and texted me 48 times in one day. I had already told him to stop calling and texting me that I would notify him as soon as I arrive at the consignee. But this little teenybopper was extremely arrogant and stupid. As soon as my truck was empty I texted him back and told him to go #### himself and never call me again.

The brokers at TQL are very young very obnoxious very rude very arrogant and very greedy.

AND THEY DO MANY DIRTY TRICKS.

One of their favorite dirty tricks is to book your truck on a load and send you the Rate confirmation. But they don't fill in any information about the shipper or the consignee. The reason they do this so they can keep shopping for a lower-priced truck. If they find one of these bottom feeder carriers they call you back and pretend the load was canceled. And because you have no information on the shipper receiver you can not call and verify this.

If you were going to book a load with TQL, which you are a stupid moron if you do, make sure the shipper and receiver on the rate confirmation before you commit your truck to the load.

 

I agree. TQL loads are normally low paying and the broker assistants that dispatch the loads usually will not offer much to any help when a question arises. When booking a load and negotiating a load contract, their flat rate haul is usually non-nego. I had them hang up when I made a higher offer for a more profitable margin offer. In there conformation, they do not include the pick up address not material discription. They will tell you the area of a major city but not the actual place of delivery. I really dislike their company policies.

 

The reason they will not tell you anything about the pick up location because they want to continue looking for a cheaper truck until the last minute. If they find one of these cheap carriers to haul the load for less money they will call you and tell you the load was canceled. And of course they will not pay you any truck ordered not use money. TQL is scum of the earth and you're a moron you ever haul one of their loads. I cannot say any plainer than that.

 

If you deal with TQL, get 'dispatched' on the load immediately after booking. They'll send that info out usually right after you send back the rate confirmation. That's also they only way you'll get TONU with them.

 

Wrong!!!!! 3 Months ago did just that, and guess what. Broker called that Thursday morning just 4 miles from the pick-up location and said the customer does not have room for the shippment, would you hold it for the weekend and deliver it Monday morning. I said no, I can't have the truck sit around that long. And guess what, TQL did not pay for TONU.

 

Easy fix. Mark the bills refused by shipper and head for the nearest storage facility. $100 per day storage plus unloading costs. They do not get the load until all costs are paid including the shipping costs. You fulfilled the contract by showing up to the consignee. The rate confirmation says nothing about them getting it off your truck. I have done this more times than I can remember, always got paid right away. Usually by the shipper or consignee.

 

I have done that as well many times. But the point was, TQL will not give the address in the conformation. So therefore, I will not haul by phone call address. It is not a binding contact if both addresses of pickup and delivery is not included.

 

Totally agree with that. Technically speaking, no load was taken hostage, and they have exact knowledge of where it is. The rate confirmation is contract between two parties. If the other party cannot fulfill its obligation, then the contract is void.

 

It is definently a company with a honesty problem.
