Your state dictates workers comp coverage. Your question as stated is not answerable.

OCC/ACC is NOT Workers Comp. An employer can be liable if they present it as so. As Florida exempts entities with less than four employees from having it, I provided OCC/ACC, but not only described the coverage in orientation, but had the employee sign off that they knew they didn't have workers comp coverage, and were only covered by OCC/ACC. Every state is different and some require actual Workers Comp insurance for single employees. Some states offer Workers Comp coverage through the state even, so without knowing what state, simply saying go get a OCC/ACC policy is VERY BAD advice.

The OP was asking about workman’s composition insurance and OODIA’s page clearly states that it is NOT a workman’s composition plan.

If the OP’s state requires workman’s composition insurance the OOIDA plan will not meet the requirement.

If it was WC, it would be called that. It is not. Even so, the OP stated he had a driver working for him, and you suggested OCC/ACC.
