OCC / Acc insurance

OCC/ACC is NOT Workers Comp. An employer can be liable if they present it as so. As Florida exempts entities with less than four employees from having it, I provided OCC/ACC, but not only described the coverage in orientation, but had the employee sign off that they knew they didn't have workers comp coverage, and were only covered by OCC/ACC. Every state is different and some require actual Workers Comp insurance for single employees. Some states offer Workers Comp coverage through the state even, so without knowing what state, simply saying go get a OCC/ACC policy is VERY BAD advice.

Occ / Acc is workmans comp if your the owner and operator of the unit as it was described to me but not the same if you employ a driver then workmans comp is required
