Anyone running one on their truck, is it worth putting it on to get better fuel mpg in winter?

Do you need it, probably not but it makes me feel better...Coffey, mitmaks, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
As long as your truck operates in its "normal" range, it is unnecessary. One should only be considered if your engine struggles to maintain proper temps. If you run one unnecessarily, it may cause overheating issues, so keep an eye on your temp gauge. Personally, I've never had a truck that needed one.
