The best stuff I have ever found is isopropyl alcohol (also known as rubbing-alcohol)... 90% or higher. Down to -10 degrees Fahrenheit I use 4 oz for every 100 gallons of diesel, any colder amd I will double that dose. I have never gelled up since switching to this.
It is dirt cheap compared to other diesel treatments, is safe for ALL diesel engines, also works as air-line antifreeze, helps keep windshield washer fluid from gettimg slushy or frozen in spray nozzles, sterilizes wounds, and more.just_sayin, Mooseontheloose and TGUNKEL Thank this. -
Doesn't rubbing alcohol contain water?

Edit: normal rubbimg alcohol is only 70%McMahons Trucking Thanks this.
