your truck already has the max tint allowed built into the windows.

there might be a couple of points to play with. but your not going to find anything that light to add on to the windows.

don't beleive me. roll window down a little. put eyes through the window then above the window. you'll see the difference.

i used to be a auto mechanic. licenses safety and emissions inspector. so i had access to those light meters. if i remember right. cars already had 25% in the windows.

You are allowed 70% tint on top of the factory glass.

That's as far as the federal regulations. State laws can be stiffer but I have seen none posted in here. I always tint my windows by my state law and 70% is basically the lightest they sell around here. You can still see through it easily from the outside which is many law enforcement concerns.

Don't forget seeing in the mirrors at night. As much as I like tint I won't tint a truck for that reason.

And then you have different rules by different states DOT , local law enforcement to deal with / worry about as well as a few seem to have their own rules on what is TOO DARK

Are u ou doing for looks or because of the sun.. if dbecause of the sun.. I have some early morning runs headed East, and that monrning sun can be blinding... those sun shades you put on the outside tbat hang down over the top of the windows do a good job...

Here's state by state. I don't see any stricter than 70% tint other than CO, MI, NH, NJ and VT might be enought to spoil it. Some are more lenient. So if you don't run them states you should be cool.

It is NOT 70 per cent tint, it is 70 percent of the light has to pass through. So the tinting would be 30 per cent is the max allowable.
