have you ever run winch truck before?
better start pounding the pavement and talking to a lot of people. i don't typically see a lot of people looking to lease winch trucks. my best sujection is to get out there and start talking with companys and networking keep track of every contact you make.
when i went to belly dumping i had trouble at first then once you start making the connections it gets a lot easier but a lot of the oilfield is more who you know vrs what you know -
I have been on winch from the age of 14 bed picker and winch never realy done anything other then move rigs and equipment it been picking up a bit now got a few things booked
Ezrider_48501 and Wymon Thank this. -
Glad things are picking up for you. It looks like you bought the right setup, and with your experience you should stay busy. It seems like there are an awful lot of help wanted ads for winch truck drivers that say "experience preferred"-that's a scary thought!-unless they have one heck of a training program.-I've gone as far as to hire an O/O just to have an experienced winch hand on the job. Good luck to you.

Yea my dad moved rigs never had much choice but to winch and haul equipment

I think it would have been a wise choice to have a bunch of work lined up before diving in debt like that. I hope things work out for ya there. I hear Grande Prarie and surrounding area is boomin right now...
