* Must be available to stay on the road three weeks per trip
with 4 days off.

Be careful if you respond to ads like these on craigslist. I'm not saying that this job isn't legit, but it does raise some eyebrows. If they are a big company then why doesn't someone in an office have a land line that you can call instead of a cellphone number that is listed in the ad? Chances are this is an owner operator with more than one truck leased on somewhere (he probably drives one himself and will be training you). Starting pay should be no less than 24% of the gross (not the net), minus the fuel surcharge and after the owner gives the company their 17%-20% cut. I called this number just to ask where this person has their truck leased on at, but I didn't get any answer (imagine that). Someone who wants to train a newbie to haul frac sand, could be someone wanting to take advantage of a driver with low pay.
