Will any major LTL companies hire me before hazmat?

    Will any of the major ltl companies hire me before I'm able to get hazmat? I won't have any problem getting it, but I'm OTR and never go home for hometime (usually head to vegas or elsewhere) to start the process. I've heard of companies giving 90 days or something like that. I have all other endorsements.

    Back when(I 1st got Hazmat) they basically said "is there any problem getting your hazmat" I said "no problem".They said "ok",we"ll hire you,you just need to get it.If its not an all Hazmat company,normally theyll just use you for non hazmat runs until you get the endorsement.

    Don't be hesitant about the Haz/Tanker..
    Myself I picked up the booklet @ MVD on a Friday, cracked it Saturday & Sunday, tested on Monday, ACED it..30 questions - 17 minutes !
    I wanted to have mine outta the way to concentrate upon the new company without any distractions what so ever.....

    Company I work at hires without hazmat but you have 90 days from date of hire to get it or move on. Go online and do the TSA app and schedule your finger prints. If you have an interview and you can tell them you already applied or you already did finger prints it will show them you might be worth a shot. Never hurts to have the extra endorsement anyway.
