It may just be me but it looks like the majority of O/O prefer Classic style trucks like Peterbilt 379s or KW 900s etc.

One guy offered me a theory that when you open the hood - everything is exposed - easier to work on = less labor cost.

Is this the reason - or at least one reason? What are some other reasons to choose the long hood style trucks?

The obvious one to me is - they just look way better.

Because many people don't consider these new aero trucks made out of plastic "real trucks".

Long hoods have a longer wheel base which makes them ride better, also with the long hood option the engine is mounted futher forward which makes it easier to work. And of course the best answer of all they simply look better.

Had this been a Crapcadia, or any other plastic truck, it wouldn't be driving away today.
This is a USA Truck genius that decided to go joy riding last night when he was drunk. His TRAINER was in the bunk sleeping his beer off too. Kid went to jail, trainer got a cab called for him. Trainer was FOUR times over the limit BTW.

Needless to say, it was NOT a pleasant surprise when I got paged in the truckstop while doing laundry. Yep, my truck.
Front bumper is 1/8" steel, not plastic junk. Took the wrecker to pull it out again.
