Can anyone shed some light on Roadmaster?
I have read the forums, and for the most part see a lot of these CDL schools running between $2500-$5000.
Roadmaster in Tampa is $6500. Why? They are not accredited, and it is the same information you can get somewhere else, like a local community college.
I called them and asked, but can't get an answer that honest from them.
The only thing I can think of, would be that it is convenient being as it is right on I-4 at the fairgrounds, and the other places from Tampa are a good distance, like Clearwater, St. Pete, and Orlando.
Anyone have any idea?
Why is Roadmaster So Expensive?

I don't know why the charge so much. But I scheduled to begin class with them 7/19, this coming Monday. But I found it strange when they wanted me to begin class without even being financed yet. I called them on it , They said most everyone is approved. Come to find out I would have to put $2000 down. I know have bad credit. But I like to be told upfront not wait till I was a week into the training.

Any good education, that puts you into the Big Bucks is going to cost a bit.
You could make that much money back in 4-6 weeks.....................
That is a helluva return on your money !!!!! -
Yea to me looks like a rip off, its the exact amount of hours the school im going to in south bend indiana and 2x the price...and like u said u can go to a community collage and pay 2 grand and in my opinion is the better route if you have 2 months to wait to get your cdl...i say this cause most collage courses are 8 weeks long. (At least around this area)

I went to roadmaster, but only because I had it payed for by Federal Tuition Assistance. Not a chance I would pay that much out of pocket. I told the school recruiter, that was to much, I could go to a companies cdl program for much cheaper. She then started finding ways to cut costs, and ultimatly get it completely paid for.

The $6000+ with Roadmaster is if you have a co-signer or have them do the financing. If you pay it up front, credit card or find a kind person to loan you the money, then it is only $4995. The lower price is still more than what my local jr. college charges but when I went through it they were considering raising the tuition as it is expensive to run trucks -- gas, maintenance, insurance, etc. -- than to have a building with just a classroom and instructors.

I went to roadmasters they roll in the dough with ###### equipment. You can go to q community college takes longer but way cheaper

They say that the day before u test they call u in and say u need to pay 2000 to graduate. I had to put down 1000. And still pay most companies pay a portion of your school back
