Why do CDL B jobs pay the same as a non cdl driver job ie amazon?

That still doesn't discredit that it would be logical to think a class b cdl job SHOULD pay more than a non cdl driving job. Also CDL's cost waaay more to get than a regular driver's license. It's mandatory to go to truck driving school, to get the CDL now. Which is like 4000$-7000$ grand lmao

With the expensive mandatory CDL schooling now involved it's a big expense and class B jobs SHOULD pay better I agree but again that's not how it is. That's how free markets work. Employers are not forced by legislation to pay more or less or even the same as anyone else. Getting your B now is pretty much a waste of money. Get a class A or don't even bother.

To invest that kind of money and only get a class B license would take a real idiot. IMHO.

Several companies reimburse the cdl school cost back to the driver.

You don't have much, if any, confidence in yourself.
If you want to settle for low paying jobs, then I guess that's what you'll do.

I know drivers that can barely read & write, but living a very good life as truck drivers.
One retired and is drawing $10,000 a month on his investments.
He can neither read or write, but bluffed his way to a very comfortable retirement. He taught his son, also a trucker, how to do stock trades and day trading. His son is now retired with $20G a month.
