I was scrolling through indeed and saw that some CDL B jobs aren't really paying that much different than non cdl delivery drivers at amazon. Why is that????? in fact, I saw some amazon drivers starting pay was better than the CDL B jobs I saw
Why do CDL B jobs pay the same as a non cdl driver job ie amazon?

Supply and demand, I guess.
Depends on your location, and what CDL-B jobs are available.
I've seen people humping packages out of an Amazon sprinter, and I sure wouldn't want any part of that.

You can't expect every single employer to pay the same. All operations are different. Also consider there are ways to pay that aren't hourly per se. What are the health insurance benefits? PTO? Vacation? OT? It's all compensation in kne form or another.

Because the class B license is very easy to get. It is just a step above no license.
