I see more and more truckers will flash cars over but don't even bother with semi trucks. Have you all become scared of cars? Lol

as a former driver myself, if a car was in the middle lane and they were going too slow for me to like, i'd flash the lights, and they would generally move over.

as a private person now, if some dumbarse trucker flashes his lights at me, i stay put. especially since they have another left lane to use.

i can assure you that they move over for me, as my rear view and front driver cams will catch them riding my bumper.

    great lawsuit against them.

I think it's a "hey mom, look at me way up here in the big truck" mindset. 8 days ago they were driving their hoopty (I'm told that means rusted Kia toaster) and now they are the Kia toaster driver in a big truck and they haven't started thinking, or backing, like a truck driver.

I don't know if scared would be the most accurate word to use, I don't worry about my own driving but from what I see on a daily basis I sure as heck worry about everybody else's driving.

No one worries about their own driving, and everyone considers it the other persons fault.

Its courtesy.... once apon a time truckers shared it with each other.
If i see a car looking to move over but not being decisive, i will flash just to help them decide instead of pondering more the coming out at moment when i have to take evasive action....

I had a truck come barreling up on me in a one lane 45MPH construction zone.I was going about 48,and he started flashing me like I was going to pull over on the shoulder and let him by.
Nope I did the speed limit “45”.
    His horn works good too!

I think there’s some confusion in this thread.
Seems half of y’all are referring to a trucker flashing his lights to allow you to merge.
The other half seems to believe it’s about truckers riding your tail and flashing their lights telling you to move over.
