I mean 250-400k miles for under $40k.
Why?
I know back in maxxforce days they were junk but what about now?

A buddy is in a lease international and wants his old cascadia that had problems back .. apparently his roof leaks and it has wiring issues he loses too much pay because it’s in the shop steady. Also the international engine is weak pulling tri axles . His may be a lemon

Hey, I bleed red, white and blue, and it's mighty nice to see Internationals( always IH to me) gracing our highways again. Even though it's owned by Volkswagen,
, I hope it puts a dent in Volvos stronghold on the freight industry. Newsflash, all trucks are basically the same today, and Volvo probably employs more Americans than anyone, but to me, some things are still sacred. I drove more IH trucks than any other brand. That's good enough for me.
4wayflashers, Blagoje and Numb Thank this. -
International used to build a solid truck. They went to #### IMHO around the time of the appearance of the Cummins ISX.Sons Hero, Crude Truckin', W923 and 1 other person Thank this. -

Considering that some of the Mexican cross border trucking companies are running 20+ year old International cabovers instead of the newer ProStar or LT trucks, that should tell you everything you need to know.
Things haven’t been the same since the Maxxforce debacle. When you have someone at a litigation trial stating and I quote: “Navistar didn’t test s***!!” then that’s a serious problem!

Got a buddy that has a prostar with a maxforce…maybe 2015+- model year.
It’s parked and he is running a mid 90s 9370 with a 12.7 Detroit. It’s a really nice truck. He says the pro star is comparably a pos even though it has similar engine miles but about a third of the chassis miles. I don’t know to many details about the prostar but I believe the clutch is slipping….seems odd that that’s reason to buy a different truck but maybe that explains everything… -
Someone elsewhere had mentioned that their company’s fleet of LT trucks had issues with the A26 engines, including connecting rod wrist pins. To the point in one case the failure holed the block!!
Crude Truckin' Thanks this.
