I have found a pretty descent restaurant / hotel in Whitewood, SK on TransCanada Highway.

Its in a small town of Whitewood, SK about 1 1/2 east of Regina.

Its just a hotel/motel with a franchised restaurant attached to it. Chicken Chef is the name of the franchise, never really heard of it but it seemed like a family restaurant.

They offer a continental breakfast for the room guests, but also offer for the general public.

The price was very reasonable. They charged me $8.95 + gst for a hot breakfast buffet with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, cereal and all sorts of other food. The price also included coffee, tea, juice and milk which was a great bargain.

Also, the owner let me take a shower in their pool facility for free before breakfast which was also very nice of him.

I believe they are open from 5am-10am for breakfast buffet.

If you are ever in that area, check it out, it might be worth it.
