I am very partial to abex 685 or stemco ultra peak brake shoes. If the stemco shoes are available that is the first choice. Great life and quiet. The abex tend to want to squeal. Drum I am not so particular about. Gunnite or webb are probably the most prevalent. Centrifuse are good but $$$ I am not sure that they are worth the extra.

I like Webb so far. Made in the USA and are wearing well.
Trust me, don't buy Chinese garbage. One set of shoes and they had to be replaced. -
I just bought 4 centrifuse drums. That's what was there so I stuck with the same. I figured over the life of the drum the extra money would be minimal. If saving weight is important they are good.

I just did brakes on both drives. Napa shoes 4707? And drums. What kind of quality did i buy? Drums $84 shoes 17 each plus bag
-
Pay a little extra for balanced drums.

I wish someone could explain if steel versus cast are worth the extra $.
