    Hey,

Trying to understand where to store a tractor trailer during days off. I'm new to the industry and trying to understand what to do. Seems like the city and my neighbors aren't fond of a truck nearby.

    Thanks!

Paid for parking space. Mechanic shop may rent space. Storage units or other transport companies.

When I lived in Biloxi , I parked my rig at a muffler shop that was about two blocks from my house .

was driving by one day and noticed they had a large parking lot and stopped in and introduced myself and asked if I could park there a couple days a week when I was home and had a trailer with me.
I mostly hauled refrigerated containers from the port with perishable fruit in them so most of the time I was home I was bobtail , which my neighbors , if they cared, never complained about being parked in front of my house , but I lived in a blue collar neighborhood full of steelworkers and shipbuilders and plumbers etc .

Park it in the local police department parking lot. They will watch it for you.

Some advertise truck parking, it's just a empty lot. There's also RV storage that has shore power plugs and all that. You could park in a truck stop but you'll be using a spot another driver might need

I leave my truck at my local truck stop for up to 3 days at a time. I've talked to an employee at Love's and they see people leave their trucks for over a week at a time at that location and they don't call a tow truck service. You might want to ask employees at your local truck stop.

Near me, the same truck is parked on an exit ramp several nights a week.

i assume the driver lives in a nearby apartment complex .

Its amazing just how many people seem be ok allowing you to park somewhere when you offer to pay for it, just suggesting that's all.
