Hey i just wanted to get some opinions on height sticks you use. I see most of them are carbon fiber. I know they are light, but wouldn't be better to use an aluminium one or something it is made of that woulnt crack if dropped? Anyway i need to get one asap in Chicago area. Can anyone offer a place i could buy one? I know i can get one online, but maybe i can buy the one that is already checked by one of you and you liked it.
Where to get a height stick?

I custom built my height stick, it's made out of .250 wall chromoly for extra strength. The fiberglass height sticks break when you run them over with the truck haha. It also helps to start your markings 6" further up on the stick, that way you'll never be overheight.

Even if it was aluminum it certainly wouldn't like being dropped and couldn't be trusted after. I know that autohaulersupply has a warehouse in Elkhart, IN if you are heading that way. I'm sure there is a place somewhere in Chicago that sells them I just don't know where
