Just changed one yesterday on one of my trucks.
New from cummins is $900 plus. Here's one for $780.
3411481 Cummins (1996 & Newer) N14 CelectPlus Engine Wiring Harness 3411481
Under $300, don't hold your breath. Gliders blew prices up tremendously.Tabby101 Thanks this. -
UPDATE
So it seems I do not need the entire harness. All I need is the small plug from the engine...the one with the least amount of wires. Mine was cut about 8 inches back. I ordered one from a junkyard of North for 75 bucks. The problem I have now is the wires are not numbered or colored the same as mine. The plug actually fits I just have no way of knowing which wire's to connect. -
The wires should be numbered.
-
If I remember right, you have to have a special tool to remove the contacts on the plug.
-
Even more reason you should have just bought a new harness. Chasing unknown wires is just more time wasted.
-
True...special tool needed to remove the pins from the harness connector.
-
They are numbered but none of them match.
-
Yes you do need a special tool and it was an ex-employee with a vindictive streak.
