Hi there, I have a 2013 Cummins ISX KW T660 that's getting code SPN 3216 FMI 4, which is
Aftertreatment 1 Intake NOx
Voltage Below Normal, Or Shorted To Low Source
I'm guessing the sensor is shot. Anyone know the location of it?
thanks!
Where is the aftertreatmnt intake NOx sensor on Cummins ISX?

It's by the turbo next to the fuel doser. I have seen them fail and it usually needs the sensor replaced, but that sensor is about $350, so don't guess, get it diagnosed.

First time I called the dealer they couldn't find it, probably because he was looking in the engine component category. I'll have to call in the morning and try again and tell him to look in the aftertreament components. Unfortunately I can't get my hands on the truck to look at the part.
I'll post up a part number when I get it.Last edited: Feb 17, 2016
