I am looking for flatbed carriers that have moffetts. In my search I found them to be a need in a haystack or trying to find a mythical beast. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

I am in Indianapolis, nut I have a customer looking to move freight by moffett from, CA, IL, PA, GA, CO,FL, TX regional around the US. I am looking to get information on them so I can talk to them about potential lanes and get a better understanding of what it take to operate and run with the particular specialzed equipment. it is not something I deal with on a daily basis, but it is a mode I will be handling for now on.

Well as far as cross country im not sure, but its easy to get moffet service in any major city. Get it loaded on a flat, and call a courior company in the dest. City, set up a 1 hour window or whatever to have the truck with moffet stop by for unload. Most non courior companys that run moffet do it for there own freight

Well priority courior has moffets, and elite transportation, dont remeber the third. They may only be local, try finding out who delivers salt, sod, pet food, or cinder blocks in the areas your looking at. Some of those companys may use outsoursed del. But they all use moffets as far as i know

the question I would ask is why do they need to have a fork lift on the trailer.
does the delivery point not have that equipment?
