Where can I find Tractor Trailer Parking in New Jersey

    So I just started with a company out in the Midwest that says I will bring my Tractor Trailer home with me on home time but I found it’s hard to find parking in NewJersey. (Newark, East Orange, etc) Does anyone know of free parking in NJ. Walmart in Kearny NJ changed.. it’s no longer overnight parking. The few truck stop are full and tight and it’s very hard to find parking there. Any suggestions please? This is stressing me out

    There are a lot of company drop yards all over NJ. This is because most carriers drop freight bound for NYC. I used to use these drop yards from time to time. Speak to your dispatcher and see if your company has any. Otherwise, you are going to be forced to do what most other drivers do. Plan the trip so you can get in and out of NJ before you run out of hours. There is a similar situation in Southern Florida. Over time you will know what to do.

    Dispatcher said they have no clients in NJ that will let me drop my tractor trailor.. NJ is will I would be taking my home time for 2-3 days

    Where in NJ. I work for Amazon and we have several third party yards we use for storing trailers. Most of them lease space to independent drivers as well.
