wheelbase versus bridge length

    Can someone please tell me what the difference is between these two figures? I am looking at a 2007 Freightliner tandem dump truck with a 204" wheelbase and a 231" bridge.

    The 204" wheelbase is measured from the center of the front axle to the center of the rear tandems not the center of either one of the rear axles. Most tandems have a 54" spread. The 231" wheelbase for the bridge is from the center of the front axle to the center of the rear most axle.
