Hey everyone - I know it may sound like an odd question, but let me explain. I bought a set of Omega hub covers. The ones on the front are not fitting properly. Even though there is plenty of thread for the plastic cover nuts to catch onto, my wheel studs are too short. Thus I have no way of securing the caps.
I spoke to the manufacturer and they are working on a solution that won't be ready until the end of the year. So I'm trying to figure out an alternative.
Does anyone know if there is a company out there that makes wheel stud extenders? Something like this product from Summit racing is exactly what I'd need. Or do you have any alternative suggestions on how I can make these fit onto the truck?

Should be able to find them online if you look hard, or call a truck parts dealer. If both of those fail call your local machine shop and ask what they would charge to cut you a set
Chinatown Thanks this. -

Looks like they make stuff for RV's as well, maybe one of those big RV places would have something. Also, how about lugs with a machined end that fit deeper?

What about changing out the studs? Its not the simplest job but its certainly not the worst job to do.

What is the width/pitch of the studs?

I believe it is M22 x 1.5

Maybe I don't understand, but it seems that this isn't structural, just a cover?
