This afternoon I replaced one of the drive axle seals on one of our T660s. This particular truck has the Stemco Pro-Torq spacer and Nut. In the past, we've set the bearings just by feel. This time I decided to use the sequence from the Stemco instructions. After doing the sequence, the hub seemed awfully tight. When I would spin the hub, it would stop immediately. Wondering if this snugness is actually ok? Maybe we've been setting the hubs way too loose in the past? Any advice would be appreciated...

LMS hub? Torque to spec and go..... They will feel tighter than adjusting old school with no spacer. I see so many LMS hubs come in backed off it's not funny. If it was run loose the spacer and bearings wear and will be tighter no doubt. Was the nut torqued tight when you removed it?
