I called them and asked one time a few years ago. It is a combination of things. I was told that shipper/broker feedback can improve your score in cases where some other items might be pulling it down. Otherwise it's based only on public information. Which, as we know, can create an inaccurate story about your business. Or not. You can view your own by going into the preferences tab in the user control panel. Scroll down and there's a link to view it. The list items will give you an idea of what they look at to form the score. It's possible there could be some things in there that aren't accurate, and you can improve it by something as simple as adding more detail in the carrier profile tab.

Click on the "My Account" button on the right near the top of the page, and in the links that drop down click on "Account." That should open a pop up with the title "Company Account Information" and a row of tabs. The "Account Info" tab should already be selected, if not click on it. Scroll down inside the pop up. The section that is next to last at the bottom of the page says "Carrier Performance Report" and contains a link that will open your report in another pop up. The report has a number of places you can click to expand and see some details.

Yeah, say what you will about ITS, their phone support has always been top notch. One of the reasons I kept them and dropped DAT when I decided I didn't need two subscriptions.

Edit to add: @mattvogelpohl try it again later. That link was dead once or twice when I tried it. I logged out then back in a few minutes later and it worked. Once you can view the report, you can expand those fields to get an idea of what they're reporting on.

    Mattflat362 Thanks this.

So I checked my grade and guess what.
I have a C grade because there is no data that has been reported on my record. Now tell me how they can call that fair? False grading system

Have your brokers leave you good feedback? I imagine that is how I got mine....I don't know though.....I have only run a hundred loads or so....

It's a business and they can choose to run it as they see fit. If you don't like it take your money elsewhere.

I'm not seeing what the big deal is?

Having been at a company that was downgraded due to falling safety scores I can tell you it's a pretty big deal when you depend mostly on loadboards. It'll cost you loads.
