So I just found out from a broker that they can't use me because The Internet Truck stop has me at a C grade.
There using a system that The Internet Truckstop gives based on your FMCSA scores. A,B,C so on.
I don't think that is fair rating carriers from a system that is NOT always fair and gives little insight to true information. And they are giving THEIR own rating based off of it.
I'm cancelling my account.
Whats your grade on the Internet Truckstop

It may be like the BBB, you can pay them money to get a better grade.

Many shippers are now using CSA scores and will not load carriers with bad scores because some lawyer will find them at fault in accident for using that xarrier.
It might not be the broker it might be the the shippers requirement on who hauls there frieght -
And this is why I think CSA scores are BS. Take a small carrier and receive 2 minor infractions and your at a severe setback by there standards. Then turn around and check out Swifts score.

That was the whole point of CSA scores. The rules are always made to benefit the largest of companies and put burdens on you the small operator. That's how everything works. It's the golden rule. Those who have the gold make up all the rules. LOL

I'm not saying that's right but that is the reality of it. Some shippers will not load carriers with bad scores for liability reasons.

So what constitutes an A grade?
75-100%, or 95-100%
And how about an F grade?
A scoring system based on letters is NOT an accurate description.
Why is it that carriers can not see their own grade, but the brokers can? Let alone if the information is correct because we all know the CSA is not fair scoring system. -
It's probably a algorithm based on combination of things such as
CSA score
On time pick up & deliveries on loads carrier has pulled for them
How many loads pulled for them and probably other factorsREEFERman450 Thanks this.
