From a looks standpoint, if you're talking older trucks I always liked KWs and Freightliners. I always thought Marmon cabovers looked cool too. Newer trucks, the newest Macks caught my attention. Drivability wise, Volvos and Freightliners

Peterbilt and CAT power has sure been good to us over the years. Hopefully my truck buying is over but if not I'm going to stick with what I know

I love the look of the new Mack, all except for the weirdo fender mirrors. Those look completely wrong, like they were an afterthought.

I can't stand driving Volvos. Can't get comfortable in them, and they seem to wander all over the road. But the Volvos I've driven were all single axle daycabs, so that might have something to do with it.

    Favorite brand? Kenworth.
Favorite model? T-800. They've held together better than anything we've ever had. On a cost per mile or cost per hour basis they're also the best money makers we've run.

We still have a couple of LT Macks that we inherited when we bought out one of our competitors. They were loggers but we put tanks on them and use them for water trucks now They're tough..

Yes they could have left those mirrors off but that truck looks like it means business. So few companies roll with bulldog. I've never driven a Volvo daycab just only the sleepers. For an OTR truck, it's well made and great for making money in my mind.

I like International trucks. But no truck...or anything manufactured is immune to breakdowns.

That's my understanding as well, the one in the pic is likely a retrofit. We have one with a factory sleeper and it's a tiny little coffin.
