I've only been to the Lee Hi 3 times since it went TA. I remember a lot of folks being pretty upset about that at the time. Now that it's been running as one for a while, what's the verdict?

Oh boy. This is a tough one. I'm gonna break form a bit here.
1. White's Truck Stop (now Petro) Raphine, VA I-81 exit 205. Love to park facing east. Nothing like waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the mountains of western Virginia.
2. Joplin 44, Joplin, MO I-44 exit 4 (holy #### so many 4s). Massive parking lot that I've never seen even close to full, and some really, really cute waitresses. Can't beat that with a stick!
3. Truckers' Inn Travel Plaza (w/ Pine Cone restaurant) De Forest, WI I-39/90/94 exit 131 great food and one of the best CB shops in the nation.
4. Truck World, Hubbard, OH I-80 exit 234 - Lots of parking, nice restaurant, really neat place in general. Never pulled in here and been unable to park.
5. Planeview Travel Plaza, Oshkosh, WI US41 exit 113. Awesome food, and they sell STROOPWAFELS! I mean, c'mon, what more could you want?
Former favorites or very honorable mentions:
Bosselman's, Grand Island, NE I-80 exit 312 - used to be my absolute favorite until they ripped out Grandma Max's restaurant and put a national chain in its place.
Stockmen's Truck Stop, St. Paul, MN, I-494 exit 64A - a tight, cramped, run down place, but it's the last of a dying bread of REAL truck stops, not even attempting to serve the general public...and their beef tips... OMG. Crack on a dinner plate!
Osseo Travel Plaza, Osseo, WI I-94 exit 88... never pulled in here and been unable to park legally. Plus it's in western Wisconsin, a place I love dearly.
The new Dodge City, AL Petro. Huge lot, and a Jack's across the street. I can't express in words how much I love Jack's biscuits & gravy...
Southfork Truck Stop, Gurdon, AR I-30 exit 63... Good food and a massive parking lot that I've never seen more than maybe a third full.
Kimball Crossing Plaza, Kimball, TN I-24 exit 152. Not a truck stop, but a retail plaza. Truck friendly, I've spent the night here multiple times, never been bothered. Has a Walmart, Dollar Tree, shoe store, Chinese buffet, Shoney's, Cracker Barrel, Taco Bell, KFC, A&W, Long John Silver's, Pizza Hut and more, 2 hotels, and a McDonald's is across the street.
101 Travel Plaza, I-40 exit 101 in Tennessee, forgot the name of the town. The food on the buffet was like eating my grandma's home cooking, seriously, and the "travel store" is in actuality a small grocery store.
76th street truck stop, Byron Center, MI US131 exit 75. Can't call it a favorite because every time I go there, it's jammed up, no parking left. But the restaurant is awesome, and they have among the best biscuits & gravy I've had on the road. And it's always full of locals, so that's always a good indicator.Last edited: Aug 23, 2015

Flying J - Cokeville, WY.
Quite and always a place to park, you also dont have to worry about getting killed by CR England or Swift at night when they are backing.
Pilot - Laramie, WY.
Bosslsman Pilot - Grand Island, NE.
Awesome pilot, Always loved stopping here, insane people on the CB and decent showers. Lots of parking.
Iowa 80 TA - Walcott, Iowa.
Amlog (Americold) - Taber, Alberta.
Not a truck stop but love parking there when I have to pickup. Friendly people and always lots of coffee.Last edited: Sep 1, 2015

I like the Iowa 80. It was the first truck stop I had ever went to as a kid that I can remember. I love nights where I'm running to the end of my 11 hours and that moment I realize I have just enough time to make it there and I don't have to worry about a spot.
I can't remember where in Illinois, but there is a small America's Best with fast and free WiFi.
Flying hook in Birmingham, I'll never forget my first lot lizard.
All the west Memphis truck stops for when I need to hit it up on channel 22 for the real deal to get my fix.
The TA in Laredo, TX. When I'm feeling adventurous I hit up channel 13 for the truck Indian and he takes me into Mexico for a romp in the red light district.Straight Stacks Thanks this. -
Gonna be interesting to see how much parking is lost at Hubbard when they finish the new fuel islands
