Here's one lady's opinion:

I have the Bose Ride. I love it and hate it.
The seat itself was very hard when new, but it has softened some with use. Or I got use to it, one or the other.
The mechanism works great. We have rough roads here in the Saskatchewan back country. Sometimes I forget to turn it on in the morning, within an hour I notice my shoulders getting sore. Then I remember to turn it on and the soreness goes away.RussianBearTruckeR Thanks this. -
SILVER I like this one.

I require a airride seat that has reclining plus arm rests. Nothing too fancy. Certainly did not have heated seats back then either. (Or cooled seats)
IF a seat has none of those features it is very likely I will not be your employee very long. The worst are the ones with seats that are hardbolted to the cab floor with nothing adjustable or comfortable. Those jobs never lasted too long.
I do not make a habit of buying furniture but custom ordered a recliner a few weeks ago to be factory made and shipped to order this month, with a emphasis on reclining past horizontal for medical use if necessary. Ive been working on replacing worn out furnaturing this year to improve the pain management. Much of what I have approach 40 years in age and it's going to be replaced.
Finally but not last, that truck seat has to be a high back. There has been many times where we hit a bad bridge and the body gets slammed, that is where the high back comes into play.Slowmover1 and RussianBearTruckeR Thank this. -
If I was rich, well I wouldn’t be driving a truck anymore, but for giggles let’s say I went insane and still drove, I would go with the leather Maximizer seat. It has like 30 adjustments in addition to heat & cool and massage capabilities. It’ll set you back around $1500 or so fully loaded though!
For the rest of us normal folk, a Bostrom low-pro, wide back leather seat would be my realistic choice and planned purchase within the month. Still has a ton of adjustments and its literally like sitting down on top of a fluffy cloud. It’s amazing! They’ll still ring up around $800-$900 but it’s well worth it in the long run. They’re easy to take in & out for you company drivers as well. Four bolts and a couple air lines...maybe a 12v wire if you get the heat or cool/massaging functions. That’s it. If you ever go thru Walcott IA on I-80, stop in at the I-80 truck stop and they have a display of 5 or 6 different seats you can sit in and play with adjustments before you buy.77fib77 and RussianBearTruckeR Thank this. -
I never could understand the logic of putting in a cheap, basic, plain Jane drivers seat in a $150,000+ truck. Why in the world can’t they just put a nice comfortable seat in the #### thing since that is where you literally spend half of your truck driving life sitting in. Don’t make any sense... I can get 147 cup holders, a fridge, adaptive cruise control, automatic climate control, rain sensing windshield wipers... but not a comfortable freakin seat!!
