I'm researching fuel cards like RTS. What card would you recommend and why?

I signed up for NASTC a few weeks ago.

The average discount I’m seeing at TA/Petro is anywhere from $.30 to $.40 per gallon below retail.

No Pilot/Flying J in network, mostly TA/Petro and independents.

    TallJoe Thanks this.

    RTS/Fleet One.

All the majors plus many mom n pop stops. They have an app that lets you search your area for the lowest fuel price with and with out discounts. Discounts from the big major stops are typically $0.20 - $0.30 off the cash pump price. Discounts from the smaller mom n pops are in the $0.10 - $0.15 off the cash pump price.

No need to go inside for a receipt. Its all electronic. Everything is done at the pump. Easy in and easy out.

I looked into the NASTC card and I like what I saw. I'm going to be signing up for it by middle of summer.

is this the same as wex fleet one? I like the wex card but the customer service is horrible! I have waited for 1 1/2 hours on hold trying to resolve an issue just to be transfered to someone else to wait another 1/2 hour.I'm now on day two of waiting for response through email. That kind of service is unacceptable, I can't stand at a fuel counter for over an hour waiting to see why my card is not authorized.

I paid $3.060 for fuel in NY on 5/23/2018 on NASTC / Fleet One if that helps. Discount was $0.589 a gal.

    DSK333 Thanks this.

Is NASTC one of those companies that contracts you to only use their card? We got the RTS fleetone, and the RTS credit check app on customers is a nice feature. Would like to use both at once.

You can use whatever card you want. They do want you to use theirs periodically though and use it in their fuel network.

Hurst I looked at the website and it said Pilot/Flying J only. Is the TA/Petro and Loves in their network too? If they are then how come they don't mention it?
