I use the forecast maps on Forecast Maps | Weather Underground

Gives the forecast 7 days out, and is usually spot on. When I want to see what's going on currently, I just pull up any doppler radar map for the region I'm heading to.

 

i just found out about the 511 app for my city. shows any accidents or delays all the traffic and road conditions pretty good for the winter has plow cams and traffic cams

I got Weather Bug after I was tired of watching an ad everytime I did anything on the weather.com app. I’ve had pretty good luck it, it’s fairly user friendly and has a lot of different maps. If you turn “Location” on, it’ll alert you of any weather advisories or warnings where you are if there is any. But they might all do this, it doesn’t take much to amuse me.

 

I hate weather underground but their app is pretty straightforward and allows almost unlimited favorite cities to be saved for quicker access. And they will put a Red Triangle up in the top left corner if there are immediate or near weather concerns for that vicinity.
