A search turned up humidifier results related to CPAP machines but I don't have sleep apnea, I just hate dry winter air.

This little unit http://www.walmart.com/ip/Portable-Mini-Humidifier-White/10755958 looks very compact and uses water bottles and has pretty good reviews. I'm not sure of it's effectiveness during driving but at least for sleep it would be nice. I'm curious of the current draw.

I run electric blanket and mattress pad off the inverter so probably this too.
Down below freezing the gen has to run for a ceramic resistance heater.

Just looking for reviews on any units used by truckers. Thanks.

That looks like a toaster, lol.

Looking at the other Crane model which looks better built... it uses 32 watts. Hardly anything. All I could find on yours is it does include an AC adapter. That tells me it has a low current draw also.

Use distilled water so sediments don't plug it up over time.

All I do for sleeping, is dampen a towel, and hang it up to dry out over night. Works quite well for me.
