What year the Freightliner Columbia got the DPF?

There's a big ol' metal chamber underneath the frame... it has piping for engine exhaust going into it, so it's obvious. You shouldn't have any of that since DPF didn't get installed until the 2008 model year.

Most manufacturers started redesigning in 07'. I know for certain Kenworth and Volvo because I owned both of them at the time and they were a major pain in the butt!

My Volvo a pre emissions 2008. No DPF.

Those exist too... just like there are some '04's that are pre-EGR. I recall that quite a few tractors at Prime showed up through the 2nd quarter without DPF, but that was the first year that they were installed.

Any engine manufactured after 12-31-06 will have it.
