Peninsula Truck Lines has local and line haul.
Maybe they'll waive the 12 mos. experience required; sometimes companies will.

I have mixed opinions on bobtail propane delivery. The work is easy for the most part, but it can be difficult at times during the winter when you gotta drag that hose through the snow. And they do have slow periods, as well as peak season.
Companies like Airgas and Suburban Propane are union too, but that doesn't mean the pay is all that great though. It's probably around the $20-21 an hour mark and you have to be on call as well.
I got a co-worker who use to work at Suburban Propane as a bobtail driver. He made around $21 an hour. No OT though and made around 20 stops per day on average. He mentioned he liked the job and it was easy. Not that much work during the summer, but you'll make it up during the winter. He wound up quitting the job because he mentioned that the company changed the job duties and wanted them to be mobile mechanics too. They wanted their drivers to attend classes to be trained as a mechanic for repairs, which is something he didn't sign up for. Needless to say, he said he doesn't miss the job because of the low pay and being on call, but he did say it was easy work though.Tank1992 Thanks this. -
