I will be coming new out of school from a 540 hrs long training course in about 11 weeks (New England Tractor Trailer Training School - NETTTS) and cannot see myself away from my 8 month old baby or my girlfriend.

Schneider had posted a while ago some Local Intermodal opportunities out of Worcester, MA but I see they no longer have it available.

I am interested in Local Intermodal for the reason of being home at least 90% of the time.

Second option is Auto-Hauling. For that option I like a company called Diversified Automotive from where I know a guy claiming he makes more than decent money and home every night unless he decides to stay out.

    Any options, advices??

Note: in the tittle I meant to put "Are There"...

I heard that Ryder which makes the CVS deliveries for New England might begin taking drivers that have no experience. They are looking into having there own driver development. They are located in North Smithfield off of Pound Hill Rd. You would be home every night and no weekends. Go to there web site or give them a call.

I would strongly pursue your second option if I were you. I also know a guy with Diversified and is very happy with them.
