Are you driving now? Did you get your CDL?
Truck drivers own/rent the whole spectrum of homes; from a single wide trailer, small cabin in the woods, half-million dollar condo somewhere, etc.
One driver posted he bought a 4-plex, which is a 4 apartment building. He lives in one and rents the other 3. Can't remember which state he's in, but think it's California.rabbiporkchop, Tb0n3, Rideandrepair and 3 others Thank this. -
Mine has a toilet with running water. I can even see through some of the plastic.
Rideandrepair, bigguns and Chinatown Thank this. -
House in mountains, can not get a big truck even close, interstate a couple hours away. wildlife, fishing, good clean water and people trying to camp on the land...target practice, that no trespassing sign means?

Honestly through the 80s 90s and until my mom passed away I crashed at my parents. I might be home 3 maybe 4 days a month. After my mom passed away till I retired I was a bit homeless. Mostly lived in my truck. Today I live in a 950 sq foot apt in Hampton Roads Virginia.
Coover, TripleSix, Rideandrepair and 2 others Thank this. -
I live in a house that’s ridiculously too big in a fancy suburb because that was her dream house. I don’t even have kids.
At least it’s only going up in value because I’m moving to the country with some land in the near future.Rideandrepair and bigguns Thank this. -
One of the weirder questions I've seen posted here, but I'll bite. I own a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom house in Texas. Not too fancy but not a dump either. Built in 1996, quiet neighborhood, great city.
Dumbest thing I ever did was buy a house. Selling it for way more than I paid for it is part of my retirement plan.Diesel Dave, rabbiporkchop, dwells40 and 6 others Thank this.
