What is your favorite truck stop chain? - T/A, Love's or Pilot/Flying J?

I like smaller privately own truck stops the best.

 

No favorites really, but I like the newer Loves because of the spacious parking lots and because in the majority of parking spots but certainly not all of them, you can do a straight back. I'm talking newer Loves only. For showers, I prefer most but not all Flying J's. However, Flying J's are usually the most packed. I also wish the Flying J's offered more fast food options than they do since most of the time I don't have the time to eat at Denny's and also because I prefer most of the time to take my food back to the truck to eat. Other than that though, they are all about the same for me.

Also, I like the fact that the Loves and the Pilots re-did their bathrooms last year. Unfortunately, most of the bathrooms at the TA's and Petros still suck.

 

Of all the chains I am still a Petro fan . I can not stand Loves at all and NEVER use them anywhere . Pilot is just anther convenience store with fuel pumps and they also did the impossible.... they screwed flyingJ up even more than flyingJ was !!!

 

Town pump/Pilot in Montana are nice. Petro anywhere else.


Best of the worst...

 

I like Petro and Flying J. They seem to consistently have the beyter showers.

 

I like Petro's and Coffee Cup's in the Dakotas.

 

Petro for a shower and a relaxing time in the drivers theater. Pilot is only good for the coffee.
