what is the normal length to cut push rod on a type 30 brake chamber?

    yea but i looking for the correct setup for the push rod for type 30 brake chamber.

    Well I understand that but how long the arm on the slack adjuster, type of shoes and cam, and distance from pod mount to slack adjuster all play a factor in this. There is no set distance. Also if it is a 30/30 chamber or one that has a park brake side to it it really needs to be caged to cut it the right length. Thats why we measure the old one.

    The correct length is where the slack adjuster is 90 degrees from the rod when the brakes are applied.

    Measure the rod on the maxi on the other side of the axle
