Hi Folks! Thinking about a career change and would love any feedback on driving schools. I have read a lot of negative about CRE...any suggestions?
What is the best driving school in CA and who should I avoid

If your willing to go out of state I would recommend the Swift Academy in San Antonio, Tx. I am no longer w/ Swift but cannot complain about the school - they taught me the skills needed to be successful in trucking...
2zlady Thanks this. -
You don't say what part of the state you're in.
SoCal has United. Good company.
If you're on unemployment in CA, they will pay your tuition to a private school in state.2zlady Thanks this. -
I would say stay away from that place. My guess is the training might be questionable with just a week.
Anyone else seen it?
I think there is a Toy R Us DC out there. My parents live in Antioch so I see it when I BT to and from where I park my trailer in Lodi when I visit. -
I am up in Northern Cal, central coast. Near San Jose. I have talked with a Roadmaster recruiter but they are pricey (ouch!)
Saw a few outfits just out of SAC as well...just want to get the best training for the money and a future in the industry...
