I got the report doesn't have a number like my credit does. In the past 3 years I have
    2 citations
Disobeying traffic control signal (pa weight station)
    And
Leaving roadway I ran over a sign

Now for inspections I had 4
One I got a brakes general violation. Said they were leaking idk I'll take his word but I could hear anything or see and my air pressure was good

And on one inspection I got 2 violations
Unsecured fire extinguisher the strap over it was off
    And inoperative turn signal.

Obviously I suck at this job this all happened in my first year of trucking in my defense.

But how bad is my csa score?

Basically I have 4 violations . Because the disobey traffic control is also an inspection violation as well as on my mvr.

give us the exact DOT numbers on the ticket...like for instance...398.45 A, or B or D...etc...

then tell us the exact dates you got each one.

first year like you or 40th year like me......makes no defense of the situation. we are all capable of doing something.

It’s only a matter of time until someone here points out that you don’t have a CSA score. So let me help now. You instead get PSP points assigned for each DOT violation. Some are small, some are huge. They dwindle in size 33% per year. Each year they hurt your hire ability less.. In 3 years your DOT violations will be gone and you will have no PSP points and you will be golden. You can look up the value of each violation.

    Search PSP points.

A violation might have 7 PSP points for something serious. Then it’s instantly multiplied by 3. So for year 1 it has 21 points. Year 2 it’s worth 14 points (a better score). Year 3 it’s worth 7. Finally on 3rd anniversary of that violation it’s gone. Poof.
