Got a cushion at goodwill when I was driving. Generic thing. Worked great. In fact I’m sitting on it right now lol

Purple has been great but, yes, expensive.

Have seen & looked at whatever the blue knockoffs are at truckstops & seem to be pretty darn close to Purple, but a lot less.

No idea if they will stand test of time, but do seem to be quality enough. Think I would give a try over purple just on price.

Most semi-truck seats are made for long hours of driving, but some drivers still use extra cushions for more comfort. It depends on the seat and personal preference.

Some drivers use gel or memory foam cushions to reduce pressure. Others use air cushions like the ROHO or Everlasting Comfort seat cushion. If your seat has good air ride suspension, you might not need one.

If you get sore after a few hours, try adjusting the seat position or adding a cushion to see if it helps. Hope this helps!

I got 2 brand new Freightliner Cascadias, back to back. I had to get a seat cushion because the seat bottom cushion was so bad. It was somehow less comfortable than a wooden chair. I had never even considered getting a seat cushion to sit on, just a small lumbar pillow for my back, in any Peterbilt, Volvo, Sterling, or Kenworth truck. I thought I would get used to the Freightliner seat bottom but my posterior just went numb and me legs started "going to sleep".

    This is what I bought
