Been a little busy the last week or so. Finally got a night off. Just bought a 2023 389 too, should be here in about 2 weeks.

Make you a nice little weekend gig, when you are on home time. jus sayin...
Prolly pay for it in 10 or 12 good pulls. May have to go where some weather is tho, to get the good paying ones.

I'm sure towing is just like trucking. Spend all your money doing it and make next to nothing in the end. But hey least I would have cool stories to tell

Like with trucking, there is money in towing. Depends on your niche.

Some do nothing but Triple A kind of stuff...run gas, flats, lockouts, tows. Some just do police calls. Some focus only on impounds and/or repos. Some as you guys know, just do big rigs/RVs/etc, etc. Some like my grandfather had a rollback and did nothing but haul insurance wrecks to the auction in Fredericksburg, Va. He'd drive all over Va.

Down here on the sandbar, going rate for a personal vehicle to be towed, is 85 to 100 hookup, and about 5 bucks a mile on top of it. You can make pretty good money with impounding and repos, just more work and stress than the other stuff in my experience. Nobody is going to shoot at you or try to fight you for bringing them gas, or changing their flat. At lest in my experience. ;)

I have no idea on rates for big trucks/vehicles when it comes to towing. I'd imagine it's a lot more. ;) I know they were needed all the time, or at lest were when I was doing it. We'd get calls all the time for big trucks, but it was also the DC/VA/MD area.
