I’m redoing my peterbilt 379 and this visor is the only one around or orderable in time before painting it. It looks like it’s a little low so I moved it up higher. I’m worried it might block the clearance cab lights a tiny bit at an extreme angle. Or it might look weird when all said and done. If it’s lower I might get a ticket. The lights are on order so can’t check yet. But does it look ok as it is you think? Attached is the visor. I have mine one notch higher than the blue Pete in the picture.

What height visor is legal 379?

Run it low so your clearance lights don’t get blocked and just park back further from stop lights. I’m all about style over legality. I think it looks cool, so I say run it. If you get a ticket change it then, or try to get away with it a second round. They’re probably not gonna shoot you over it. It’ll be alright.

This is how low mine is. Haven’t got written up. And….. I’ve seen much lower ones on the road.

That’s a nice looking truck Diesel Dave. I was trying to look at other photos to compare but I noticed on mine it’s like the cab part is taller than a 389. Might be my imagination. Also mirrors attach to door not the cab so it throws me off. I got the clearance lights today so I’m going to drive over there first thing tomorrow and see.

Did you get the bullet LEDs lights?
